Registration Fees

Please note that all late registration payments have to be done within a week of the registration. Fees for registrations done from 19 November onwards are immediately payable. 

The following registration packages per person are available. Fees are quoted and payable in ZAR and include 14% Value Added Tax (VAT). The currency code for Rand is ZAR and the currency symbol is R.  For your convenience, herewith please find a currency converter.

Registration Packages

The registration packages include the following:

Delegate Registration Package:

  • Attendance of all sessions
  • Welcome function
  • Delegate pack includig programme and delegate bag
  • Refreshment breaks (2 per day)
  • No lunch (there will be food on sale at the CTICC)

Accompanying Persons Package:

  • Access to exhibition and lunch area on meeting days (not during refreshment breaks)
  • Name badge and carrier bag
  • Welcome Function

Criteria for Students:

  • Not older than 35 in the year of the Assembly
  • Doing PHD or post graduate studies in year of the Symposium (2017)

Please note that there is an additional surcharge for the symposium dinner on Wednesday 6 December. 2017.

Invitation Letters

Invitation letters can only be produced after registration has been done. Please e-mail your request Tammy Maart (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ). Please include the following information:

  • Title, Name, Surname
  • Position
  • Department
  • Organisation
  • City
  • Country
  • E-mail address
  • Passport No
  • Country of issue
  • Date of Expiry

Payment Method

Payment options:
EFT (an invoice will be sent to delegates after registration)
Bank Deposit (an invoice will be sent to delegates after registration)
Online Credit Card (after completing the registration online it will proceed to the online credit card payment page)
Please note that all standard payments have to be done, and cleared through the bank by 20 October 2017.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Access to and attendance at Texas 2017 will only be confirmed on receipt of payment.
  2. Payment is due within one one month of the registration. But please refer to point 3.
  3. All Standard fees must be paid by the closing date of the Standard time period. Failure to pay the Standard fee by such date will result in the delegate being liable for the Late registration fees.
  4. An invoice with the Symposium bank details will be sent to you within 72 hours (business days) of receipt of your registration.
  5. Receipts for EFTs and Bank Deposits will only be issued once proof of payment has been received, and once the payment has cleared and been identified in the Symposium bank account.
  6. Proof of payment for EFTs and Bank Deposits is to be emailed to Tammy Maart, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  7. Please ensure that all payments make clear reference to the delegate being paid for, with their unique PIN number: (Name, Surname, PIN number). Failure to do so could result in your payment not being identified in the bank account and therefore not being receipted.
  8. All payments must be made payable to Texas 2017
  9. Registrations are transferable to delegates who have not yet registered.
  10. Delegates attending from countries outside South Africa are requested to make payment in South African Rands (ZAR) and are responsible for covering the full bank charges. The full delegate registration fee amount invoiced must appear in the Symposium bank account. Should this not be the case, the delegate will need to pay the difference in cash on site before being allowed to participate in the event.
  11. Online registration will close on Wednesday 29 November 2017.

Cancellations and Termination of Registrations

  1. On completion of this application you will be liable for the full amount of the registration fees subject to the cancellation conditions below.
  2. All cancellations must be received in writing by the Secretariat – This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
  3. Cancellations received on or before 29 October 2017 will receive a full refund, less a R500 administration fee.
  4. Cancellation received from 30 October 2017 to 19 November 2017 (17:00 GMT +2) will receive a 50% refund.
  5. No refunds will be issued for cancellation received after 19 November 2017 (17:00 GMT +2).
  6. All refunds due will only be issued after the Symposium.
